PNGCommentator

PNGCommentator is an application born out of necessity. I needed to add custom metadata to some PNG image files and was amazed to find that there didn't seem to be a good way to do this. A few image editors have some very basic support for PNG metadata, but not enough for my needs. There are some command line tools with more support, but that is not really the simple, convenient workflow I was looking for.
Thus PNGCommentator was born. PNG metadata can now be added and edited at the click of a mouse.
Version 1.2 adds support for batch processing and customisable presets, allowing for much faster workflows. Text macros extend this even further, aloowing the software to automatically insert data such as the date or filename.

Requires Mac OS X 10.4.4 or higher (Snow Leopard supported). PNGCommentator is a Universal Binary.
Installation is as simple as dragging the the application from the disk image to your hard drive.
